The Story Telling Session organised by HSBC

HSBC organised the story telling sessions for those hearing kids who have deaf parents. The story telling is suitable for age 3 years old-9 years old.The event was located at Swiss Hotel (former westin)in Raffles City (former SOGO)on 6th Aug (last saturday). But we just brought Kazu to see if he likes to hear the story. At first,he liked to hear the story for a few mins and smiled at the signing at the same time. Then he is restless. So we brought him far away from the stage. It's quite good experience to meet deaf parents with kids and we can share tips how we can bring the kids up or make them happy or discpline them or teach them how to sign, etc. On the other hand,it was quite nice to catch up with some deaf friends whom we have not seen for a long time. After that,we went to find a place in Burger King for light dinner and chat. The rest went home early around 8pm due to hungry ghost festival. It's not good for the kids to stay out too late.My husband and I and Kazu got to meet my younger sister at Marina Square to see fireworks but dropped it due to big crowd. So we went home around 9pm.

Kazu is the "King" in his family and is busy dressing up before going out for story telling session.

Kazu was very excited and happy that his parents were going to bring him out.

The Story telling session. The HSBC staffs signed and talked at the same time. The children were engrossed in listening to them.Great, isn't it?
