Sy Rogers's message

I went to church last saturday and I enjoyed listening to his own real experience stories.The message was very good and well said.He had been in Singapore for 7 years already.His favourite singapore food is LASKA! Thumb up!He is american.He was happily married with a grown up daughter now.He looked smart and his behaviour was abit sissy.THe story began:He was former gay and sex abuse.His late mother was drunk addict.Unfortunately,she was on road accident when he was very young.So his father did not want to take care of him cuz' he wanted to live on his own so he decided to send him away.Of course,Rogers was very angry with him and really hated his father alot.That was why he end up being labelled as homosexual by friends.He was always bullied by friends in school.He was confused by his sexuality.He did not choose to be homosexual himself but other people kept labelling him as homosexual.Till he got to know about God's word and began to accept Jesus as his saviour but he still kept hanging out with homosexual people.He had a broken family and was discouraged.One day,he kept praying to God about his problems and everything.He said that God is bigger than our problems we face.If we did not seek God's help,we keep facing bigger and bigger problems.We must admit our mistakes to God and ask Him to clean our sins and we ought to give all problems to Him.We must not focus on our problems only but focus on God as our first priority cuz' He is the biggest and he can help us.He is the one set us to succeed through Him.He knows many problems we face.We should not run away from God cuzwe think that God will scold us? but God did not but He never forsake us and always keep his promises what we want.God is the best cheerleader in helping you to get nurtured and nourished.If we don't admit our problems to God,we will face more problems than we never know.We must learn to trust Him and have faith in Him no matter what.Back to Roger's story,he realised that God is really real this time and began to draw closer to Him.Thus God approves him to be bigger now.Back to Roger's story again,he knew that God did not approve him of being homosexual but he always challenged many problems he faced and did not let his problems overcome him.We must not give up.Roger never see his father for 12 years already.His father did not believe him to be changed totally cuz' he thought that Roger may go back to his old ways-homosexual again.Indeed,his father was surprised to see him being married to his wife and even a child already.Roger decided to forgive him and forgot the bad memories in him.His father and he were reunited as father and son again.He can get along well with his stepmother too.Roger never give up on praying for his father and stepmother to believe in God and become christians.His prayer had answered and paid off finally.His father and stepmother became christians cuz' they had seen him through his experiences and he influenced on them what he is now.That same applied to our parents/relatives,friends-we must continue to pray for them.We must believe in God who can save many people through us.
