Our final patchwork
Phew! Our patchworks are completed finally! We went to class last friday and showed it to our teacher.Carolyn "insisted" buying a thank you card with a box of chocolate for teacher to show our gratitude and appreciation towards her.The teacher told us that our patchworks are very nice and asked us whom we will give to.We gave our patchworks to our children. After that,we were in a rush to meet Lina and Angeline at Sakei Sushi in Bugis but they queued up earlier than us.Unfortunately, all the tables were fully booked and we,5 people could not get a table together. We had to wait for about 45 mins but Carolyn still prefered japanese food but we cannot wait any longer so we end up going to Seoul Gardens for dinner. The food is not bad and we still enjoyed eating and chatting at the same time.We listened to Diana's experience about earthquake at her office. After dinner,we had deserts and I eat ice cream twice!hee...
yup our patchworks are finally completed and our efforts are paid off at last! Too bad for those who want to buy our patchworks cos they are not on sales as they are supposed for our dear children! hee...
our stomaches are damn full cos of seoul garden got plenty of food everywhere!
Terry, are you serious interested in patchwork? If so,we can recommend you to our school where we learn patchwork.wanna it?be prepared to be very busy person and sacrifice your favourite sleeping when it comes to patchwork for homework :p I usually sleep around 1am every night after sewing each block, etc despite of next working day.
CONGRATS to all girls who finished patchworks..u all put alot of effort to make a beautiful patchworks..Thumb up :-)How long u all completed that patchworks?
thanks, wendy! We were very flexible about our schedule patchwork. If one of us had not completed patchwork or miss a few lessons before next lesson,we will wait for her who will catch up with all the lessons like me cuz' I had my operation till recovered and then resume sew patchwork :) I think it could be about 6 months to complete patchwork but depend on you how much you can commit towards patchwork. It's really struggling to sew patchwork,work,family,church,etc.hee...If those who are full time housewife,it will be no problem and may complete patchwork in 2 or 3 months, who knows?:)
I take my hat off you three ladies for putting a lot of patience in achieving your patchworks completion. Why your patchworks has same pattern though with different colours?
Anyway I better not question any further for a purpose. * shutting up my mouth* ha
