Mister Singapore Pageant

Applaused Terence for being brave to enter Mister Singapore contest! He did not make it to enter Top 10 Finalists but he did win MSO Spirit award-$300 cash prize and a Galen & Liang trophy valued at $2,000 for his outstanding qualities such as character, sportmanship, achievement, personal growth, and a willingess to promote the positive aspects of competition. The press info says"Perhaps for the first time in international male pageant history, a contestant with hearing disability has been selected to compete in the country’s most celebrated and prestigious male pageant. This decision by the judges during the auditions surprised many people in the male pageant industry as it is unprecedented for a person with disability to be selected for a beauty pageant. Mister Bedok Terence Thaddeus Lew used sign language with an interpreter to get past the question and answer segment during the audition. Terence is a 27-year-old senior creative/software designer who is also a triathelete and mountain climber."
The Mister Singapore 2006 is Mr.Bukit Batok,Dennis Lau.He is not really handsome but he won 2 awards- Newmens Ambassador and Critical beauty awards.

Many of us say only one SAME word "Unbelievable" when Bukit Batok won *shrug*.Maybe he is a dark horse. Hope the judges are actually not sleepy in choosing him as Mr Mister Singapore! haa
