My boss

After work,my boss wanted to take us to his japanese restaurant out of blue yesterday.Then he toasted to us for "happy no wendy here"!Ha...He was refering to my manager who was on business trip for 3 days from this monday to wednesday.He asked us to keep the secret from Wendy.We realised that he is actually good boss but it's not true what wendy thinks of him as bad boss.He is more understanding and flexible than Wendy.It's true that we got abit freedom from her absence and were happy and relaxed.Well,we could not stand her complaint and restriction all the time despite of good discplince towards us.She would start to complain whenever we are on MC or leave but boss don't mind as long as we can clear work before taking leave.Can't understand why the manager and boss's thinkings are different.In fact,my boss's position is higher than my manager's position yet he always respects her.Other colleagues from other dept entered my accounts dept and it was very quiet place.Of course,we won't talk anything except work.During lunch time,if we talked abit,then she began to grumble why we make noise.Back to topic,my boss has been staying in Singapore for 6 years already.He told us his experience living oversea.He had stayed in TDK in Japan for 4 years,then posted in New York for 2 years,then go back to Japan for 2 years.Then he was posted in Florida where my husband lives.He dislikes the idea of living in India due to curry and lack of transporation though he stayed in India for a week.After dinner,we were reminded not to tell anyone about this dinner.However,one of my colleague suspected that his dinner with us would be the last dinner cuz' the headquarter in Japan might ask him to go back to TDK soon.Oh,noo..We don't wish to keep changing bosses.Previous boss is Mr.Ibaraki whom we never forget.We still keep in touch with him and update him about our wedding,babies,graduation,etc.Yes,he was really nice and caring man.He had stayed with us for 11 years.Joyin knows about him too.
